    The short version

We collect as little as we can: your e-mail and name to run your play wallet, and what happens in it. We don't sell data, we don't use advertising cookies, and our analytics don't use cookies at all.

    What we collect

    • Account: e-mail address, name and (if you use Google) profile picture, from your sign-in.
    • Play wallet: your play µBIT balance and history — check-ins, bonuses, quizzes, guesses, Arcade rounds, draw and season results, partner-site transactions.
    • Age check: only whether you are 18 or over (not your date of birth), for the casino-style games.
    • Settings: display name, watchlist, e-mail preferences, invite code and who invited you.
    • Real BitOil updates and partner inquiries: the e-mail and message you send us.
    • Technical: your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored with your account.

    Why we use it

    • To run your play wallet, games, leaderboards and the partner network (with the same Google e-mail, your wallet works on our partner sites).
    • To send e-mails you asked for (confirmations, Real BitOil updates) and, unless you switch them off, streak reminders and win notices.
    • To keep the games fair and stop abuse.

    Analytics and cookies

We use StaTrak, a cookieless analytics service that counts visits without identifying you. Signing in stores a session in your browser so you stay logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

    Who processes your data

    • Neon (database and sign-in, United States).
    • Google (if you choose "Continue with Google").
    • Brevo (sending e-mails).
    • Lovable and Cloudflare (hosting the site and API).
    • StaTrak (cookieless analytics).

    Public information

Leaderboards, the recent-wins ticker and draw results show a shortened version of your display name (for example "Ali…") — never your e-mail.

    Your choices and rights

    • Switch reminder and win e-mails off on your account page, or with the link in any of those e-mails.
    • Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and wallet: e-mail hello@wetocean.com.
    • We keep data while your account is active and delete it when you ask, unless we must keep something by law.

    Children

BitOil is not for children under 13, and the casino-style Arcade games are for adults (18+) only.

    Changes and contact

We'll update this page if anything changes and show the new date at the top. Questions: hello@wetocean.com. BitOil is a Wet Ocean brand.
