About this calculator
BitOil is a research project. The "BIT" value shown here is a simulated peg used to illustrate what an oil-anchored token might look like. It is not a price quote, an investment offer, or a tradeable asset. The model defines 1 BIT as one barrel of WTI crude, so the BIT price moves directly with the live oil market. Smaller amounts use micro BitOil: 1 µBIT is one millionth of a BIT. The free Play BitOil game uses play µBIT, which has no cash value.
