The idea
Most stablecoins track the US dollar. Real BitOil would track something physical instead: crude oil, one of the most traded commodities in the world.
1 BIT ≈ 1 barrel of WTI crude. If oil is $100 a barrel, 1 BIT would be worth about $100. Because a whole coin is large, everyday amounts would use micro BitOil: 1 µBIT = 0.000001 BIT.
Before anything launches, three hard questions need clear answers: is it legal where it's offered, what backs each coin, and who independently checks it. Our roadmap is built around those questions. The draft whitepaper explains it in plain English.
